Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Sunset at Shanti Stupa

Arrive at Leh Airport, one of the highest commercial airports in the world. Our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the day resting to acclimatize to the high altitude (11,500 ft). In the evening, head to the iconic Shanti Stupa for sunset views over the Indus Valley and Leh town. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Sightseeing – Monasteries & Cultural Tour

Start your day with a visit to Thiksey Monastery, a beautiful structure perched on a hill resembling the Potala Palace in Tibet. Continue to Hemis Monastery, the largest in Ladakh, known for its rich spiritual significance. En route, visit Shey Palace, the ancient royal residence. Return to Leh by evening and enjoy local cuisine at a traditional Ladakhi restaurant. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Approx. 130 km / 5–6 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via the world-famous Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft). Descend into a landscape of stark mountains and sand dunes. Visit the Diskit Monastery, home to a giant Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Then, explore the Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy a unique double-humped camel ride. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 4: Excursion to Turtuk – The Remote Border Village

Take a full-day excursion to Turtuk, a hidden gem near the Indo-Pak border. This charming Balti village features narrow lanes, walnut trees, apricot orchards, and traditional homes. It offers a glimpse into a distinct culture, language, and lifestyle. Return to Nubra by evening. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Valley (Approx. 200 km / 6–7 hours)

Depart Nubra and take the scenic Shyok River route to reach Pangong Lake, a stunning high-altitude lake at 14,270 ft, famous for its surreal blue-green hues. The lake stretches across India and China and offers mesmerizing views. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the lakeshore. Overnight stay in a camp near Pangong Lake.

Day 6: Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass (Approx. 160 km / 6 hours)

Witness the magical sunrise at Pangong before heading back to Leh. En route, cross Chang La Pass (17,586 ft) and stop at Tangtse Village for tea and snacks. On the way, visit Druk White Lotus School (popularly known from the movie 3 Idiots) and Sindhu Ghat. Arrive in Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7: Day Trip to Alchi & Likir Monasteries

Take a day excursion to the Alchi Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh, known for its Indo-Tibetan frescoes and ancient carvings. Also visit Likir Monastery, known for its majestic golden Maitreya Buddha statue. On the return journey, stop at the Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Sangam, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 8: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Leh Airport for your return journey. Depart with a heart full of memories – the stillness of Pangong, the mystique of monasteries, and the grandeur of Ladakh’s natural wonders.
