Day 1: Chandigarh to Haridwar/Rishikesh – A Spiritual Beginning

Arrive in Chandigarh and embark on a scenic road journey to Haridwar or Rishikesh, the gateway to the Char Dham Yatra. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, experience the divine Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar or Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh, a mesmerizing spiritual event. Overnight stay in Haridwar/Rishikesh.

Day 2: Haridwar/Rishikesh to Barkot via Mussoorie

After breakfast, begin your journey to Barkot, passing through the scenic landscapes of Dehradun and Mussoorie. En route, stop at the famous Kempty Falls in Mussoorie and enjoy the breathtaking views. Continue your drive and check into your hotel in Barkot for a restful overnight stay.

Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri – The First Dham

After an early breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti, the base for the trek to Yamunotri Temple, the first Dham of the Char Dham Yatra. Trek 6 km to the temple (on foot, by pony, or palanquin) and take a holy dip in the hot springs at Surya Kund before offering prayers at Yamunotri Temple. After darshan, return to Barkot for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi – Land of Temples

After breakfast, depart for Uttarkashi, a sacred town nestled along the banks of the Bhagirathi River. On arrival, visit the Vishwanath Temple, one of the oldest and most revered Shiva temples. Spend the evening exploring the serene surroundings before an overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri – The Abode of the Ganges

After an early breakfast, drive to Gangotri, the second Dham of the Char Dham Yatra. En route, witness the magnificent Harsil Valley, known for its lush greenery and breathtaking landscapes. At Gangotri, take a holy dip in the Ganges at Bhagirath Shila and offer prayers at Gangotri Temple. After darshan, return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi via Tehri Dam

After breakfast, proceed towards Guptkashi, passing through the picturesque towns of Tehri Dam and Rudraprayag. Enjoy the mesmerizing views of the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers along the way. On arrival, check into your hotel for an overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath – The Third Dham

After an early breakfast, drive to Sonprayag, the base point for the Kedarnath trek. Begin your 16 km trek to Kedarnath Temple (on foot, pony, palki, or helicopter option available). Seek blessings at one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and absorb the divine energy of the temple. Stay overnight at a guesthouse near Kedarnath Temple.

Day 8: Kedarnath to Badrinath via Guptkashi

After a soulful morning at Kedarnath, trek down to Guptkashi and continue your journey to Badrinath, the final and most significant Dham of the Yatra. On arrival, visit Mana Village (India’s last village), Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Bhim Pul before heading to the revered Badrinath Temple for evening prayers. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 9: After breakfast, drive toBadrinath to Rudraprayag via Joshimath

After an early morning darshan at Badrinath Temple, begin your return journey via Joshimath and Karanprayag, enjoying the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Arrive in Rudraprayag, a confluence point of the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers, and check into your hotel for an overnight stay. Rudraprayag via Joshimath and Karanprayag. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 10: Rudraprayag to Chandigarh – Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar/Rishikesh, marking the end of your divine Char Dham Yatra. You will be dropped at Haridwar/Rishikesh Railway Station or Airport for your return journey to Chandigarh, carrying with you the spiritual blessings and unforgettable memories of this sacred pilgrimage.
